The Bruker MALDI Biotyper is a revolutionary product that uses mass spectrometry to produce rapid, accurate and cost effective bacterial identifications. The Bruker MALDI Biotyper Sales Account Manager will be responsible for all sales activities for the microbiology marketplace within the assigned territory. In this role, this person will be responsible for building and managing the sales pipeline in order to meet and exceed objectives for both revenue and customer satisfaction. The territory for this position includes the Northeast focusing in the New England region.














Responsibilities










Build and maintain a sales pipeline for Bruker's products and services using a 3x3 contact framework.
Manage pipeline to produce consistent revenue generation using a solutions selling approach.
Support alliance partners with sales efforts.
Present products, lead customer negotiations and provide customer care and support.
Ability to produce effective financial arguments for Bruker product and services using EXCEL and other tools.
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders within assigned territory.
Use and curate Salesforce software for opportunity, lead and revenue tracking.
Manage local and regional conventions and participate in national shows.
Engage in self-learning and organized training sessions for relevant topics and Bruker products to ensure continued development of knowledge base.
Interact and collaborate with internal departments to meet QSR and regulatory requirements.
Manage business and travel expenses within specified budget.













Qualifications

BA/BS degree in relevant scientific fields (microbiology, biology, chemistry)
Minimum of 5 years sales experience. Minimum 3 years' demonstrated success selling complex diagnostic products and services.
Ability to identify and qualify needs and to present solutions to different levels within an account (technical, financial and executive).
Microsoft Office and Outlook including ability to work with advanced applications for EXCEL.
Excellent verbal, written, computer and technical communication and presentation skills.
Analytical ability in order to diagnosis business problems and propose appropriate solutions.
Adaptability - able to work in and with multiple departments.
Clinical microbiology knowledge and/or medical technologist background preferred.
